Boxerloon Designs began when I was volunteering with a local Boxer Rescue. We were getting items ready for a fundraiser auction and needed to replace some wineglasses in a picnic basket that had been donated to the Rescue. I had the perfect 2 little wine glasses to fit the basket. I had just finished etching a design on some pint glasses for my Husband and thought “Why don't I do something on these wine glasses?” I etched the Rescue logo onto the two wine glasses for the picnic basket and a Boxer head silhouette on two others that I incorporated into an auction basket and they were a big hit. Boxerloon Designs was born.
I currently have 2 rescued Boxers and a deaf Jack Russell ( he wandered into our garage and never left!). I still donate etched pieces to rescues across the country ( including a horse rescue) for their fundraising efforts as well as to local charities like Relay for Life. I plan to add customs wreaths to my list of donated items. I love being able to help these good people raise money for their causes.
I just recently started making the Custom Wreaths. They became my therapy while recovering from a total hip replacement. Surgery was successful, no more pain and much better mobility. Now I can shop for supplies without pain. Joining in with the Wreath Designing community has inspired me to make the jump to advertising and selling my creations. Each new Wreath is my favorite. I hope to grow my business enough to contribute more to my favorite Rescues.
